Belvedere Trent - The Circles of Suburbia

Stand-alone 30-minute comedy with a vast scope for future episodes

Sylvia Marston-Smythe’s former Milkman is an amateur sleuth who takes great pleasure in attending murder-mystery evenings purely for entertainment. On this particular evening, Sylvia pays him to host a whodunit evening to impress her wealthy circle of friends. It all sounds straight-forward enough. However, Sylvia has an ending planned that will eclipse the themed evenings held by her well-to-do friends. It’s an ending that inevitably backfires when her husband and his PA plan an alternative ending of their own.

With a host of colourful characters surrounding the strong-willed Sylvia, it becomes a story of her desire to achieve matriarchal status within her group of friends. It’s an evening that brings closure to her long-suffering marriage. The question is, was that her intension all along?
